Keep It Simple Series: Taking Online to Offline

This Keep It Simple Series is to provide quick and easy tips for social media, today just a few ways to move online relationships offline.

1. Go to conferences. Choose wisely. It is better to have quality interactions with people than to end up with a stack of business cards that you can’t remember the person that gave them to you.

2. Reach out to the people you interact with the most. If you have a lot of interaction online, try to meet face-to-face when the opportunity arises.

3. Remember that you can make a face-to-face connection using technology (like Skype). Sometimes this is the easiest way to make those connections and of course it’s more economical as well.

4. Watch for meet-ups aka tweet-ups in your area or surrounding topics in which you are interested. You can monitor hashtags for your location or in regards to specific topic.

As always, hope you find these tips helpful! Have a great Mother’s Day Weekend.
