I wanted to blog this story, but it was a bit long and it was difficult to write. So I did a video instead. My little (bigger, but younger) brother was deployed to Iraq in the beginning of the war. He had to come home for training about 6 months into his tour, this is the story about his homecoming.
I meant to finish by saying Happy Veteran’s Day to all Veterans and their families. I also meant to tell my brother I love him and that I am so proud of him, but I got choked up and didn’t finish the way I thought I would. Remember all of our men and women in uniform today and their families, too.
